I need to make space in my home and that is why I am selling this family treasure. I played it more when I was growing up and then I got into other instruments once I became an adult. The piano has always been in homes - climate controlled living rooms and it has not been moved much (only twice in over 50 years). It has been about six years since it was last tuned (I no longer play it) and I was told that this is the type of piano that needs to be tuned in stages (can't stretch the strings too tight all at once). It was appraised by for $1450.00 when fully tuned. I am selling the piano for $900 or best offer. In addition, the Lester Piano Manufacturing Company produces a 73 note spinet piano for those who want a piano smaller than the Betsy Ross Spinet. It is in great condition - in fact, the last time it was tuned, the piano tuner mentioned that due to its being in such excellent condition, that if I ever wanted to sell it, that he would love to know about it first.
